Genuinely understanding the psychology of the consumer requires developing data-driven, psychologically-based user personas, persona narratives, empathy maps, and journey maps. This process gathers critical insights into consumers' needs, attitudes, emotions, behaviors, and motivations.
Part of building or promoting a brand is engaging the consumer and connecting them to the product or service through storytelling. Creating a relationship with the consumer using marketing campaigns, social media, and website content enhances brand loyalty and increases awareness.
Technology has the power to enhance well-being and psychological growth when implemented appropriately. Virtual health platforms that utilize persuasive technology and gamification based on psychological principles have been shown to improve consumer health behavior and motivate future engagement.
Data-driven User Persona
Designed in 2021, this sample transmedia brand marketing proposal was intended to enhance brand loyalty and increase awareness by anticipating users' needs and using creativity and technology to solve them.
Much of my doctoral work focused on how technology can enhance well-being and psychological growth. This video presentation was designed to engage the audience on the purpose of my dissertation using storytelling techniques.
This was my first video presentation. It's not perfect, but it's informative and fun. Using gamification features and persuasive technology taps into psychological underpinnings that assist in healthy behavior change.
Understanding the intersection of human experience and technology is increasingly more valuable with the increase in technology in our daily lives. User Experience (UX) Psychology uses the fundamentals of UX methodologies, psychological principles, and understanding. Being a relationship builder and creative problem solver, I am passionate about people, how they experience the world, and all the products and technologies they interface with.
Technology has the opportunity to assist people in their behavioral choices and improve health and well-being. I am passionate about applying technology appropriately to improve health and well-being. As a creative wellbeing product specialist, I leverage my expertise in positive psychology, consumer engagement, clinical psychology, media/ technology, and UX to deliver impactful insights to advance product and content creation that resonate with target consumers.
